Cosmin Mocanu was invited to the Romanian-Hungarian round-table conference on capital exporting, held at the Danubius Health Spa Resort Sovata on 25 and 26 May 2008. His speech presented the legal facets of capital export from Hungary to Romania, with a special focus on the Corporate and M&A and Employment issues faced by investors who wish to set up and operate a business in Romania.

Sorin Stratula, Managing Partner of STM, was invited to the 2007 BIZ Days real estate conference at World Trade Center Bucharest to talk about the real estate development in Romania under the latest legislative enactments regulating the field. The speech focused on the impact that the new laws have on land acquisitions, with a particular view on the intricacies and complexity of such investments in a real estate market defined as a seller-market, where the harsh competitiveness between developers and their huge and sophisticated demand for new plots is continuously increasing.
