Cosmin is a Partner of STM and a member in good standing of the Bucharest Bar. He also acts as authorized industrial property counselor with the National Chamber of Industrial Property Counselors of Romania (in: trademarks, geographical indications, industrial designs and models).
He graduated Magna cum laudae the Bucharest University - Law Faculty (2004), as well as the Master courses in Business Law with the Nicolae Titulescu University in Bucharest (2005). Prior to founding STM, Cosmin acted as trainee with Musat & Associates Law Firm (2003-2004), and then joined Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen Law Firm, until September 2006.

Corporate and Commercial
Cosmin was involved in various corporate and commercial related matters, among which drafting corporate deeds, advising shareholders through general shareholders meetings, guiding foreign entities in the establishment of local subsidiaries, counseling significant commercial entities in their day-to-day commercial activity. His skills also include the drafting and negotiation of a wide variety of commercial agreements (e.g. all types of SPA's, leases, services and distribution agreements, etc).

Intellectual Property
Cosmin advises clients across all matters related to the protection and enforcement of IP rights such as trademarks, patents and designs. He provides legal assistance in the clients' daily IP matters, including relevant market analysis and inquiry, as well as representation in front of the Romanian State Office for Inventions and Trademarks.

Employment
Cosmin acquired an extensive and thorough expertise in advising both employers and employees with regard to a great variety of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious. He provided legal assistance through employment agreement negotiations, drafted internal regulations and represented the clients in termination procedures as well as in a great variety of employment related disputes.

Litigation & Arbitration
Cosmin acted in a variety of complex disputes, involving employment contract termination, landlord-tenant disputes, real estate recovery claims, shareholders disputes, disputes concerning insurance contracts, as well as in fiscal enforcement disputes.

Cosmin is proficient in English and acts as authorized translator with the Romanian Ministry of Justice. He is also fluent in French and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
